Projects


(A) Dooars Institute of the Disabled - Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with disabilities, distribution of aids through camps,  Special Education and Skill development training, Hostel facilities. It also works as a resource centre for facilitating inclusion.

(B) Gayatri Gaushala- A small gaushala with 5 cows and their calves received in donation. Also works as a project for self reliance and vocational activities for disabled young adults.


(C) Vivekanand Vidyapeeth - Imparts spiritual, moral, ethical values to students through schools and community at large by its different programmes. Arranges workshops and seminars on various aspects of disability rehabilitation, social, cultural and developmental issues. Works as a think tank and idea generation Unit.

(D) Yug Chetna Pustakalaya (Library)- Propagating literature with positive thinking and spiritual, moral, ethical, patriotic values specially published from Gayatri Parivaar-Shantikunj, Ramakrishna Mission, Geeta Press and Sarvodaya Sahitya etc.  Has more than 2,500 books and is adding many more. It also aims to include braille & talking book library for the blind students.

(E) Mahakal Sthapana- 12 Shiv Jyotirlingas brought from respective teerthas and established around the pious Bel (Bilva) Tree in the Vishwamata Sevashram during a grand Pran Prathistha Purnahuti Mahotsav on 28th September 2007.


(F)  MAMTA (Medial Assistance for Malaria, Tuberculosis & Asthama) - Besides concerted efforts against the three dreaded and rampant diseases in this region, it also runs a unit on Low Cost Medication and An  Alternative Treatment Centre providing Treatment by Yogic exercises, Acupressure, Yagyopathy, Pranic Healing, promotes Herbal Nurseries & Holds periodical medical Camps in tribal areas.

(G) CHARAN PEETH- Vishwamata Mandir  will soon be a Charan Peeth for the Gayatri Sadhaks of the region. It is awaiting Pran Pratistha of Guruji (Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya, www.awgp.org), Goddess Gayatri and Chief Dieties along with Charan Padukas of Param Pujya Gurudev & Vandniya Mataji.

(H) Octagonal "Astavakra" Tower (In Planning Stage) - Mashal shaped overhead water tank symbolizing the unity of 8 prevalent religion and Akhanda Agni on ground floor for Yagya Chikitsa.
